Oil, such as linseed or tung oil, can enhance the natural beauty of the wood and provide a durable finish, but may take longer to dry. Varnish offers a strong, protective finish that is resistant to scratches and stains, but can be more difficult to apply evenly. Stain can add color to the wood while still allowing the natural grain to show through, but may require multiple coats for the desired effect. Ultimately, the choice of wood treatment product will depend on the specific needs and desired look for the wood project. **
